• Nicola graduated with High Distinctions in TCM from Sydney Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 1999.
• In 2000 furthered her studies as an Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Intern at Nanjing 1st Affiliated Hospital, Nanjing, China.

Initially Nicola successfully managed her own practice in Sydney, Australia where she gained extensive experience in a wide range of health issues.. Nicola was then offered an opportunity to embark on the “ chance of a lifetime” to work for Canyon Ranch Spa Club on the QM2.  At it’s inception Nicola provided the first “at sea” permanent, Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine services on the QM2 between December 2003 and March 2006.

Nicola then joined Acupuncture at Sea on Celebrity Cruises in March 2006 and had the privilege of continuing her passion for Chinese Medicine on the Galaxy, Summit, Mercury, Constellation and finally the Celebrity Century.

Nicola is also an experienced Lecturer in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, having provided power point seminars on a weekly basis to 30-100 ship passengers.

Nicola has returned to Australia at the end of 2008 after a 5 year adventure on the high seas treating and educating people on the benefits of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.

Before relocating to Brisbane in May 2009 Nicola worked at the Maroubra branch of the Acupuncture IVF Support Clinic in Maroubra., Sydney.

Nicola relocated to Brisbane in 2009 to take up the role of Senior Acupuncturist at Phil Vanderzeils clinic in West End “The Acupuncture and Natural Therapy”

**Nicola is currently studying a Masters of Health Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with a focus on women's health and is hoping to complete in 2013.**

Amber completed her Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture) degree at the Endeavour College of Natural Health, formerly the Australian College of Natural Medicine.  This course has allowed her to build knowledge in chinese herbs, tui na massage, western disease processes, pharmacology, needling techniques, moxibustion, gua sha, cupping and many other facets of Chinese Medicine.

Amber understands that life today generates many stressors often resulting in increased anxiety, stress, injury, pain, depression and other health issues.  If you suffer from any of these health problems and want relief of symptoms please contact Amber who has a special interest in:
